Studying in Argentina: how to organise your plan

Choosing a university or a course starts with defining what you want to achieve: a degree, an exchange experience or better Spanish. The institution, the calendar and the paperwork need to fit your situation. This guide helps you compare options before you commit time or money.

First, define your goal

  • Pin down the type of programme and the length of study you are looking for.
  • Assess your level of Spanish and the language of classes and exams.
  • Separate the needs of each family member if you are moving as a household.
  • Note the date you could start and how much time you have to prepare documents.

Questions for the institution

Ask for a written answer on recognition of your previous studies, admission requirements, the calendar, the study mode and the documents required. A requirement for one programme cannot be assumed to apply to another. If you need translations or legalisations, confirm the accepted format before ordering them.

  • Is there an entrance exam, a preparatory course or a language requirement?
  • Which costs are charged, and what does each amount include?
  • What conditions apply to changes, cancellations and refunds?
  • Which documents can the institution issue, and when?

Build a complete budget

Besides the programme itself, allow for housing, transport, materials and document preparation. Ask for current amounts and payment terms; do not use an old price as a final reference. Compare offers of the same duration and weekly hours.

Studying and residency are two separate decisions

Enrolment or admission does not guarantee a residence permit. Check the official information and the conditions that apply to your case separately. Read how to organise that research.

How we can support you

The service can include comparing programmes, preparing questions for institutions and a preparation plan, depending on the scope agreed in writing. Academic decisions belong to each institution. See our services and their limits.

Keep track of your research

Save the date, the programme name and the institution’s reply. If your start date changes, confirm the conditions again.
